ABOUT US:
The 2005-2006 season marks our fifth year of presenting professional plays and wonderful entertainment.
2nd Street Theater is owned and operated by Maralyn Thoma Dougherty and Steve Dougherty. Our goal is to produce seven shows annually and to develop a core, local repertory company.
The Young Actor's Repertory Company, for grades 6 -12, offers acting workshops and productions of classic plays for children and contemporary plays for young adults.
The Theater Education Program offers professional theater training and related seminars for adults and youth. Ongoing classes include Beginning/Intermediate Acting, On-Camera Auditions and Musical Comedy.
The Theater includes a large rehearsal space/classroom and a versatile theater performance space that are available as rentals for other organizations in the community.
Plan your special event at the 2nd Street Theater and enjoy a private reception for your group prior to any performance.
Gift certificates are available for any production during the 2005-2006 season. The recipient may choose the production they wish to attend.
