Ben Westlund represents District 27.
An agri-businessman, Ben lives and works in Central Oregon. Ben and his wife Libby have two children; a son B.J. and a daughter Taylor.
Ben graduated from Whitman College with a BA in education and history, continuing his graduate studies at the University of Oregon.
Ben is an active community member having served as a St. Frances School Board member, an "Odyssey of the Mind" coach, an active participant in both 4-H and FFA programs, a strong supporter and advocate of the High Desert Museum, along with his continued involvement in the St. Charles Hospital Vision 2000 campaign and the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Association.
During the 2003 Legislative Session, Ben is chairing the Audit and Human Services Budget Reform Committee, and also sits on the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Services and the Health and Human Services Committee.
